College Tuition Should Be Free Essay A. Critical Challenge The critical challenge within in today’s society is that college tuition should be free or if not free, more affordable for all students. Lastly, in reference to all these philosophers, the cost of tuition that society is currently presented with is the most ethical way to benefit the American people. However, it is unethical because higher education should not be consider a luxury where only the wealthy could afford. Also, unaffordable higher education is not benefiting the good of the community because only a certain percentage of the population is benefiting from the cause.Bibliography1.Consequentialist vs. non-consequentialist theories of ethics.
